Crysis game serier have been unique due theyr awesome game motor on it... It allow's them to create massive area's without needing to load every 5 minutes.
I have to get GTX460 asap if I wan't to run this game at DX11.
TBH m8 if u can, try get a 560 instead they on avg £50-60 more and defo worth the extra, wish I waited but the 460 is a fooking awesome card must say. and I'm hoping that now NVidia gave Crytek some cash to get the game "580GTX Compatible" they will also add in Physx aswell.
Dam anoying TBH, |I got the GTX480 great card but 12 months later the 580 came along. not much in it tbh, and I did get the gigabyte GTX 480 probably the top 480 going, its got some of the gigabyte tweaks, great card but was only the top GPU for 12 months.
any way maybe wack another one in next year if they contuinue to drop price 2 GTX480 have to beat the 580

Well im just glad that i play Crysis 2 with full spec's... even with this computer...
And that's why i love crysis serier's. Theyr engine can produce amazing graphics with decent computer... And i was glad to hear that Cryengine 3 is just optimized and boosted Cryengine 2 and more stable one...

Its not hard for them to move it from the CPU to the GPU, and being backed by NVidia will only help it along. And being that this will now get used for the foreseeable future as a benchmark tool it would imo make sense to use it, but then when have u known a corporate company to use their common sense?
True, Crysis 2 looks way better now. Still it is FAILSIS 2.
True it's missing that something what they had in Original Crysis, But it's less fail than latest call of duty's, at least they are trying to keep up old fashion Dedicated/Modding community's
